Finally I finished it after  2 weeks, the technique is photoshop 70% brushes, texture and crosshatching layers. This is NOT a replica from an existing poster, this was drawed, composed and painted from zero using trailer vidcaps as reference pictures, hope you like it, my kids love it, they'll have it printed to post it on their room. Hi friends, then I present this step by step of how I did this close-up drawing of Morgan Freeman, I personally love this style because I'm focused on details, not caricaturized likeness, in fact I try to portray him when sketching the closest possible using a grid because it helps me to SAVE TIME the same technique some traditional artists use to jump to bigger scales, then I can use more time in details and fun.
